Decided that I should take a cue from Yuko and post something for Nostalgia Monday.
This something is from the 7th of February, 2005. Newly re-scanned and touched up. First appeared in Jumbly Junkery 1.
Drew this a little while back as a warm-up.
Went to see my friend Dorinda read poetry the other night. I drew her while she was reading (~5 min sketch).
More people I drew at SPX, this time while at the hotel bar. I colored this when I got home.
One of the things I really love doing is drawing on the bleed-through of the previous page in my sketchbook. This is the bleed through from the collaborative bird drawing.

Here’s a more detailed drawing of Silas. The crazy ear cone is a contraption he made to help him hear better. You know, useful if you’re trying to avoid being attacked by goblins.
Silas + Randall. Mine and Yuko’s DnD characters, respectively. Silas is a halfling rogue who likes to make crazy gadgets. He also likes to goad Randall into stupid adventures.
