Ann, one of the pastors at Greenpoint Reformed Church, is being ordained as a minister this weekend! She’s been trying to be ordained for a long time now (especially since her marriage to her partner Jen ended up with Ann’s father being defrocked and igniting quite the debate in the Reformed Church in America about LGBT issues). Seems fitting that it’s happening on Brooklyn Pride Weekend!
Anyway. She asked me to draw a special cover for the ordination bulletin. Here it is. And here’s hoping for more inclusion and less controversy in the future.
