This is my most recent painting!

~2ft x 3.5ft. Acrylic, collage, photographs, marker, oil paint stick, oil pastel, spray paint, pencil on found wood.

For context, the center photograph is one that I took of my dad’s house after hurricane Katrina (as with the last painting).

With these past two paintings, I’ve been kind of exploring the idea of painting as comic. Or comic as painting. More generally, the use of time/time manipulation in a painting.
